Sailor Jerry Eagle.
Got myself a Tattoo, my first, a young man called Morgan Charles Dillinger at Frontier Tattoo Parlour in Cardiff did the artwork.
The inspiration for my choice came from my father.
It didn’t hurt.
Just found a “photographers with tattoos” blog linked to someone I’m already connected to so thought I’d reblog this from a while back.
4 years tumbling!
During this time I have gained a few thousand followers and found a few friends.
Posted thousands of photographs, some of which have been ok.
Had 1 Radar moment (so far)
I’ve been inspired by weird and wonderful things and people.
I gained 2 daughters but lost my father and my nan.
I’ve learned and grown as a photographer and artist bit still have a way to go, and probably always will.
I’ve enjoyed it.
To tumblr and the tumblrers I’ve connected with.
Scarborough August 2014.
My father took us to scarborough when we were young, my memories are vague but i think i enjoyed myself, especially the joke shop.
Both my parents were smokers as were almost all of the other adults around at the time. This fact gave me plenty of opportunity to put my pranks into play, i had bought these little exploding things that were designed to go into the end of a cigarette, when the unsuspecting smoker lit their cigarette it went bang, usually with hilarious results, apart from one time.
One time when returning home from our holidays up north my father, who always drove us, lit a cigarette while driving.
Lots of swearing and swerving followed but thankfully no physical harm done, only the fear of a repeat each time a cigarette was lit.
I took my family along to Scarborough recently, it wasn’t how i remembered it. Nice to go back with my lot though.
House of God.
A disused church in Port Talbot has become a focal point for anyone wanting to see, create or show art.
There has been several successful evenings already involving local artists and musicians. It has provided a unusual but intriguing platform for them to expose themselves.
The opportunity to be able to physically share art in Port Talbot is limited so if you would like to be involved then let me know, there are a small network of people who help organise these shows led by a local art shop owner just across from the Tabernacle Church on Forge rd, he will also be able to help you with more information.
